Meet the Team

Ashley started riding horses at the age of 7. She grew up in the "traditional" horse world, taking weekly riding lessons and participating in a local 4-H club. She competed at horse shows across New England throughout her school years. It was then that she learned about natural horsemanship, which she started practicing with her own horse and quickly became addicted. She left the traditional horse world behind and became committed to a natural approach to training. Ashley continued her study of natural horsemanship over the course of the next decade, attending as many clinics and lessons as she could. She continues to study natural horsemanship, with a focus on healthy biomechanics.

 

Ashley owns and operates a small boarding and training farm in Hollis, Maine. She also travels to teach throughout Maine and the greater New England region. She uses the knowledge that she has acquired from her 20+ years of natural horsemanship study to help her students develop strong partnerships with their horses and achieve their goals.
